Saudi Justice ministry issued a decision to amend Article 6/7 and revoking Article 75/1 of the Enforcement Law’s implementing regulations, as part of its efforts to continually grow and improve enforcement judiciary.

The amendment of Article 6/7 states that “When adjudicating a dispute regarding a check, enforcement cannot be stopped if the enforcement debtor has not deposited the value of the check in the enforcement court’s account, unless the judicial panel decides otherwise.”

Article 75/1, which was revoked by the decision, will give more flexibility and ease for women . Helping settle certain types of marital disputes with ease.

It is notable that the revision is consistent with the ministry’s efforts to streamline procedures in family cases, aiming at user-friendly services and institutional excellence.
